We' re located in the Northwest corner of Royal Oak north of Detroit and just south of Birmingham. We're on the east side of Woodward between Normandy (13 1/2 Mile) and 14 Mile Rd. We're directly across from the huge Art Van Furniture building.

Open since the spring of 1988 we have thirty thousand books, well-organized and easily found. Practically all our books have their dust jackets wrapped in clear plastic, mylar dust jacket protectors. (We also sell these separately.)

Our books are noted for their excellent condition, one reason being that we do minor repairs so that you will not find books with loose or cracked hinges or detached illustrations. We also take care to collate all books with illustrations or maps to make sure that every book is complete, if a book should be incomplete it is noted as such next to the price.

We do not practice Caveat Emptor in this store. The role of a rare book dealer is not to trick the customer but to be a helpful guide. Honesty and trust is a vital element in the mail-order business. What this means in practice is good manners, prompt responses, and a sincere desire to satisfy the customer. Although we began in 1988 our staff has worked with books since 1968.
